Howdy! I'm Devyn, 31, they/he pronouns. I've spent the last eight years in the Cincinnati gravity well.

About Me: Queer, Autistic, Disabled, AFAB Genderqueer trans-masc on T since 12/2020, AceFlux, polyam (w/a polyfam), co-parent to a 2nd grader, medical science experiment, leftist, anti-capitalist, reforming pessimist, poet, shitty cyborg, & a good listener who is all about that open and honest communication, but you have to be blunt with me. I'm a pretty open person, but value my alone time and privacy. I've been out of the social/dating scene for the last few years, so that on top of transitioning makes me feel like I'm brand new to all of this again. I tend to either go from babbling about everything to having no clue what to say. Kinda shy and awkward, but I'm working on it.

Hobby wise I read (non-fiction [science, history, memoir, medical/scientific journals, essays, Disability studies, whatever seems interesting], fiction [spec, sci-fi, urban fantasy, "classic" lit, poetry, comics) write, mess around with fountain pens and typewriters, watching movies (Crash, Stay, American Psycho, disaster and horror flicks, one of my mom's owned a video store so movies have always been a big part of my life), music on all the time (current rotation is mostly a mix of 80s new wave/dark wave (DEPECHE MODE 5ever) and hip hop (clipping. and Aesop Rock rn), enjoys concerts and camping (grew up going to pagan fests, SCA, living history, inter tribal events, and burning man regionals and flow fests as an adult). Not a HUGE partier anymore, but I enjoy kicking back and expanding my reality when life allows and pretty chill about what other grown adults do in their own homes.

What I look like: 5'2", 115, natural ginger (and the answer is "Yes, they match"), dark brown eyes, freckles, glasses, lobes at 0g, vertical labret at 16g, three tattoos (chest, head, forearm, currently planning #4), aging goth kid. I present fairly masc/andro if that's important. Part time wheelchair user, but I'm getting around with just my cane more these days now that my health has improved some.

Seeks: An open, expansive, patient, understanding, queer human of any configuration, who is cool with kids, has a willingness to understand the context of the intersectional world I exist in, a never ending desire to learn, and the ability to deal with me not always being able texting back immediately bc sometimes I have to drop of comm to deal with life shit despite not having much of a life, lol. I'm in the process of making some changes in my life after leaving a poly LTR, so support in my goals to better myself, my quality of life, and living situation is really important to me right now.

For: Friendship, support, a partner in (____), queer platonic partner, possible serious non-mono relationship type thing if it clicks, or whatever kind of situation-ship that happens. Maybe some kink. I'm a low expectations kind of socializer. Grabbing coffee, hanging out around a bonfire, chilling in the park, making things, sitting around talking about anything and everything, road trips, getting lost, more so about experiences and building connections than a fancy dinner date. That's if you happen to be local, but I'm also open to LDRs, online only, text/email/chat, phone, maybe video once we get to know each other a bit more.

Things I'm not looking for: monogamy, hook ups, cis het men looking for "girl lite", people who are not comfortable with kids at all regardless of if they will ever interact with mine or not (I'm also the oldest of six and essentially a single parent five days a week, so...).
