The world is much different now than it was in the measly 2000's. The biggest change was to the social class, where women became the top dog. It made sense for this change to happen, given how men did such a good job with the multiple world wars and constant threats of nuclear war. By the year 2140, 90% of political positions in the US were held by women, and on a global scale the number was almost at 50%, and was increasing quickly.

With the start of The Women's Revolution in politics came a massive economic boost. Turns out you can beat wildly successful nation without curbstomping the lower & middle classes, and you also do not need billionaires or trillionsires. That's not to say there aren't wealthy people, there are a ton of them, but none are billionaires. A law was passed that capped the net worth of an individual at $200 million, anything beyond that was to be collected and funneled into social programs such as healthcare, modernizing every city & state possible with fiber internet, and living assistance programs. Obviously the uber wealthy were not happy, but given the economic boom the US was going through, they would've been fools to leave.

Technology was made to be the focal point of society, with a massive focus and financial investment put into breaking down the barriers of what is possible. This was wildly successful, and lead to the US becoming the most technologically advanced country in the world in less than 10 years. Beyond that, it took only 20 years for artificial organs & limbs to become readily available that are perfect replicas of flesh & bone. But why stop there? Bodily enhancements quickly became part of everyday fashion and trends... With plenty of people receiving artificial arms that could allow them to lift a car with ease, or artificial legs that allow them to sprint for miles without tiring. It didn't stop there... Synthetic eyes that had night vision, infrared vision, and could see through solid structures like concrete and steel... Synthetic hair that never needed to be washed, could grow or reduce in length at whim, and could also have its color & style changed with just an app.

As time went on, and it became more and more widely accepted that women were the true top of the food chain, things got a tiny but corrupt. For starters, men were seen as second class citizens, often ridiculed or humiliated in braod daylight just for fun. Eventually a test was created... Called "The M/B Test" , and it was performed on every man after they turned 18. The test was less of a traditional test and more like an examination, where their body was poked, prodded, and measured all around. Blood samples were taken, and after about an hour, you would be given a score from 1-100. A score of 80-100 classified you as an Alpha, a score of 50-79 classified you as a man, and a score of 0-49 meany that you were a Beta.

A classification of Beta is what men feared the most, because it essentially meant that all of your human rights were revoked. It was still illegal to kill you, but a Beta could not vote, drive, open a bank account, own a home, rent an apartment, lease a car, open a phone plan, and much more. It was dangerous for Betas to go out in public alone, because free use laws were enacted surrounding unowned Betas. You could slap, choke, fuck, and abuse a Beta in broad daylight, and you'd be completely in your right to do so as long as you weren't blocking traffic.

However, all Betas were given one chance to be free of public abuse... It required them to allow for themselves to be labeled & sold as property... Tagged & gagged, then shipped out to one of the many Beta Boutiques across the US. At these boutiques, wealthy women could pay to purchase a Beta of their choosing, and pay extra for a plethora of cosmetic changes... A mind melting chip implanted into their brain, bimbo tits shoved into their chests, partial of full feminization, smart chastity, synthetic enhancements, and much more. You could even rename your Beta, and have their old Beta name wiped from their mind completely. It was basically choosing between a rock & a hard place, but at least with this voluntary option a Beta wasn't at risk of being handcuffed to a stop sign by a group of thugs, free for anyone and everyone to fuck and abuse...
