I crept through the dimly lit hallways, trying to keep quiet. I didn't know when I had first entered on that stupid bet that I wasn't alone in this decrepit old building! There were... things. All kinds of creatures of some king lurking about, searching for something I could only assume might be me. I had kept unseen for now as I re-entered the main foyer, attempting the front door- my original point of entry in this old mansion… only to find it had completely sealed behind me. I tried to pull on the door, hoping I could get it open with strength if it had been locked, but I couldn't get it to budge. I was trapped in here with the creatures inside- searching for me for whatever malevolent intent they might have... Wait, what was that noise coming from up the stairs? I need to hide again...

Hi there, sorry for a shorter than average bit of flavor describing the RP, I normally like discussing and building a scene beforehand with my partner. I'm looking for a horror themed romp through an old mansion on Halloween night, filled with creeps and monsters looking to take me, and make sure I don't leave the same... or maybe make sure I join them inside as a monster myself. What I'd like is some sort of potentially Cabin in the Woods (for those familiar with the movie) adventure where there's several different threats out to get me coming in all sorts of shapes and sizes. Animate monsters aside, I love the idea of cursed objects and traps impeding my progress as I try and find a way out of this decrepit mansion.
