Dorming as Junior
Post Body

I just helped my brother move into his dorm today and I can’t lie, I was a little jealous since I never had the freshman move in experience that he’s having.

I’m applying to transfer this year and I was wondering if it’s even worth dorming junior year, because if not I would opt for a 4-year that’s closer to me to commute instead.

I do want the dorming experience, but I feel that by junior year most people have their friend groups already and I feel that dorming is the main way to make friends.

Additionally, most of my friends who dorm freshman year are going off campus for their sophomore year which kinda tells me dorming is only fun freshman year.

To any junior transfer who dormed, did you enjoy it or would you have rather commuted/off campus living?
