I've been going by Éric to all the people I'm out to since last February, because I like the name, and at one point I thought the K was kind of extra, so I was hesitant to use it. But lately I saw someone called Erik on an FTM sub and my gut instinct was I WANT SOME OF THAT. I'm 100% down with being a little extra. If I want the K, I can have the K. But do I want it? Is Érik with a k more virile and rugged or am I being silly? Does Éric feel too polished to be me? Is Érick a good compromise, or does it sound like a truck? I need the É because I'm a Francophone, not because I'm fancy. :P
Please and thank you, and I would absolutely love if you could make fun sentences, but no obligation either way. :)
