Gender dysphoria is making it hard for me to enjoy the ~things~
Post Body

I am a 29 year old masculine leaning nonbinary person (they/he/xyr/it) and I am having a really hard time. Part of me just wants to be able to do whatever and express whatever. I want to be able to wear a dress and still be read as masculine. I want to have my nails done and still be read as masculine. I want to be able to have sailor moon merchandise (though this might also have some connotations that my narcissist mother is obsessed with sailor moon) and still be read as masculine. But the last one particularly has been bothering me lately. It has been making me feel less than and making me feel like my own brain is holding me back from simply enjoying things.
