First off, I’m 39. Pre everything and not at all out, except online. It has been really hard to accept who I am. I was driven into the back of the closet at an early age, back when wearing clothes for a different gender was taboo. Anyway, it’s a huge relief to read some of your posts of coming out in your 30’s or even later. Gives me hope that I’ll get there one day. I’m super nervous about coming out because I don’t think I’ll get any support. And I’m afraid to lose that “straight” life I have built. For now, I will continue working on myself and reading about how all you beautiful (and handsome) people have achieved better lives! Look forward to contributing to the community and hopefully pick up some of your extra courage! 😁
