My good friend at work that I'm out to (the only person in my public life), said that she and two other girls that we work with go to this beach every summer to hang out, have some drinks and spend the night on the beach. She is wonderful and always makes me feel comfortable with my transition. She suggested that I come along with them this summer however I choose! She said if you want it to be a girl's night that's totally cool (hell fucking yeah!)! Just so you know, I'm currently 2 months on hormones and not out in any way. This is definitely one of the most exciting propositions I've ever received and it would be a highlight of my life! But shit... at that time I'll be anywhere from 6-8 months on hormones and have no idea where I'll be in transition.

Is this idea totally nuts? My heart races to think of it and I fantasize about it in my head, but really? The beach? As a woman with other women? Having a girls' night? Could I pull that off and would I even be able to get in the car in a swimsuit and go with them?

Anyone done this? What was your experience? Did you pre game as I would plan to? 😝
