How did you tell your family(spouse, kids) that you were transgender and would like to start hrt?

Just curious about others experience with coming out to their family.. i believe i am getting close to this point and am curious how to go about it. Thanks :)

EDIT: so my wife has known about my gender dysphoria since the beginning of our marriage...which was 15 years ago. Since I had trouble accepting it at that time, I tried to overcome these feelings and haven't talked to her about it since ( except 1 time 5 years ago)...and she was accepting.

I guess I'm worried about telling her that I'm considering hrt. Km not sure how she will react
