I get an annual health check through my employer that includes a blood test. They include levels for: 1. Liver (albumin, alp, alt, ast, bilirubin, ggt, globulin, toral protein) 2. red blood cell (haemoglobin, haematocrit, mean cell haemoglobin, mean cell volume, mean platelet volume, platelet count, red cell count, red cell distribution) 3. white blood cell 4. kidney (creatinine, egfr, uric acid, urea) and 5. metabolic (thyroid) 6. heart (cholesterol, ldl, hdl, triglycerides) 7. vitamins and minerals I'll get a report to tell me if my levels are normal, and several appointments with a health coach or referral to a private gp if they aren't. By chance I've had my blood taken for this today, and have been on T for 5 months. So my question is, does this cover everything I would need checked apart from hormone levels? For my 6 months on T can I just do one of those at home tests that just measures hormone levels?
