Changing Cypro schedule - risk of too much testosterone?
Post Body

I’ve been on 12.5mg Cypro every 2 days since October 2022 (in combo with 2x2mg E gel daily), first labs in May 2023 showed a T of 1.23/nmol - 35ng/dl & second labs in October 2023 showed a T of 0.55/nmol - 15.8ng/dl, barely within female ranges (15-70ng/dl - 0.5-2.7/nmol). All testing taken at trough.

I’m hoping moving to every 3 days may give my T a very slight nudge upwards, maybe in the 1-1.5/nmol area. I don’t feel such low T is optimal and may be part of my reason for libido and energy issues.

However, I’m worried this change will either result in 0 shift of T levels, or them going too high. If they remain low despite the change, is there anything I can do short of Mono therapy?

Im also curious what happens if my T ends up between female (<2.7/nmol) and male range (>10nmol) for example 6/nmol?

My E is around 130-150pg/ml (450-550/nmol) - I understand that variation is normal for hormone labs and doesn’t indicate a change in my body’s uptake of estrogen. I was thinking alongside this to add an extra pump of E-gel (2mg) to see if I can maybe get 180-200pg/ml E.

The issues I’m wanting to resolve is issues reaching orgasm alongside overall low energy.
