Too many in this sub are music snobs and giving a bad name to the Trance genre
Post Body

Someone has to say it and it may as well be me. I'm so sick of people saying this is not pay Trance it doesn't have enough beats per minute etc etc.

Look, I'm an old school trance guy. I remember when everything was pay trance. Heineken paid Armin to make that great Save My Night song. The Olympics paid Tiesto for the classic album for Greece 2004. Endorsements were handed out like candy, and djs then took 1% of that money and gave it to some random ghost producer to give us timeless tunes like Satellite, Gouyrella, and Suburban Train.

I know today all this trance music is free Trance. Random producers think they can make it big in the world by posting links to SoundCloud, spotify, bandcamp, and beatport. But it's still trance. Deal with it. Sometimes people can make good songs that aren't pay trance.

I'm so sick of people saying it doesn't have enough beats per minute. You know what? Back in my day we only had 128 beats to work with uphill both ways in the snow, and we survived. Now a days everyone's got 140 beats or more. Spoiled, but can't imagine a song where beats are less. Guess what? It's still pay trance. Deal with it.

Music evolves deal with it. Girls are funny and smart. Deal with it. If you don't like the new age trance like this tune from Enigma fine you are entitle to that. But don't disrespect people who like current trance. And yes it is still trance on Tiestos weekly show.

Tl;dr: They Don't Think It Be Like It Is, But It Do
