Hi everyone, I'm Robert! Apologies for the short novel that's about to unfold but I feel it'll do a decent job of conveying who I am and who you are, deal? Also, location doesn't matter. If we vibe, we'll figure it out.
I'm looking for a LTR with the end goal being to settle down and start a family. I have a lot of love to give; my dog is tired of bearing the brunt of it and convinced me to finally write an ad😅 I'm able to support a family with my income alone and don't mind doing so. I actually have a few friends that are in similar relationships. My wife would be taking care of the house, kids, and myself while I'm making sure we have a roof over our heads, food on the table, and anything else we may need. Knowing she's mine and mine alone would only make me want to work hard to support her and our family that much more. We'll both share in raising and loving our children, instilling in them the best of ourselves along the way so that their whole is greater than our sum.
I usually end up taking the lead in my normal day to day as friends and family typically ask my advice regarding tough decisions, or whenever they're indecisive in general leading me to take charge more often than not. Actually, they constantly asking me just about whatever pops in their head. I swear they think I'm their personal Google. That said, I do tend to clean house at Trivia Night😏 I care for those around me (family and friends alike) by default and can't wait to do so with a future family of my own. I'm a romantic at heart and would love to have someone to shower with affection other than my aforementioned dog. If I'm being honest, she's not much of a cuddler😒 She is however a 70lb ball of derp that never fails to put a smile on my face. I'm currently teaching her how to play dead. Bonus points if you can guess what the phrase I'm using is (hint: it may be slightly nerdy)
I'm Hispanic, currently in Dallas, originally from Lubbock (guns up!), 5'7" (5'8" when the weather's juust right😜), ddf, athletic dad bod (working on it), single, no kids, brown eyes, long brown hair (usually kept up), trimmed beard, with a half sleeve on my right arm. I'm a professional in the IT field, working remote as a senior software tester and currently working towards switching specialties to machine learning/AI.
Once I'm comfortable around you you'll catch me singing to myself (which I do constantly and it's usually a made up song about whatever I happen to be doing at the moment) but if you notice I haven't sang in a bit then that's a good indicator I'm in a funk and may need a little extra TLC to bounce back. I love laughing and am constantly joking around with everyone but am serious when the situation calls. Family is super important to me and I hope it is to you too. Everyone (well usually everyone) is always nice to their family and friends so I feel you can tell a lot about their character by how they treat strangers, especially waitstaff, fast food workers, or even the homeless. If someone isn't as kind to them as they are to me we're not going to get along that well.
I like just about anything outdoors (snowboarding, kayaking, camping, etc.), karaoke, dancing (two-step anyone?), and live music (everything from symphonies to punk rock shows; planning on catching Shakey Graves this Friday!). I was in gymnastics in high school and have stayed rather limber throughout my years. I can almost do a fully straddle split again if I warm up enough beforehand (soon it'll be full!)...I know I know, hold the applause 🤪 I try to stay active by working out, hiking with my dog, and doing yoga (I swear Eagle Pose is going to end me one of these days 💀) It's been a while since I've done a mud run and I miss it, might catch the next Tough Mudder at the end of the month to scratch that itch. I can also appreciate a lazy weekend binging tv on the couch too.
I adore children and love spending time with my nephews, they're always a riot. I'm no longer Uncle Robert to the 3yo as he has affectionately renamed me Strawberry. Not Uncle Strawberry, just Strawberry🍓 I like cooking/baking as well (a proper man should know his way around a kitchen just as he does an engine), just not the mess I always end up making along the way🤦.
I'm a huge nerd if given the chance, mainly on science/sci-fi, biology, fantasy, but really just whatever happens to catch my eye/interest in general. I could be talking about astronomy to one group of friend's one second, turn around and nerd out on Star Trek, Doctor Who, Harry Potter, GOT/HOTD, etc. with another group the next second, then geek out about how trees communicate with each other and how some studies have shown that plants may be telepathic, which crystals are good for grounding yourself and which are good for cleansing with another group of friends all without skipping a beat. Halloween is my favorite time of year and my friends and I always look forward to dressing up and/or throwing a party as well. Even if it's not Halloween I still love dressing up and will do it any chance I get. I once organized a Harry Potter bar crawl and the first bar we stopped at was so impressed they said next time I do something similar to give them a heads up and they'll make an event out of it, taking care of all the advertising, promoting, and drink specials (I'm thinking 80s themed!) My interests are pretty broad and I like it that way, it allows me to talk to a lot of people about a lot of stuff they hold near and dear to them. Now don't let my inner nerd fool you, I do own some cowboy boots, hat, truck, know how to ride a horse, and visit the shooting range from time to time.
I tend to be self sufficient, which also helps keep me busy so if I'm not learning something new or doing any of the above then I'm either fixing/improving something with the house, teaching Echo new tricks, working on one of my cars (in the middle of an engine swap on one of them) or one of my friend's cars (looked at one friend's car yesterday that was having trouble starting, ended up having a faulty ignition lock housing), or helping a friend repair/fix something around their house/restaurant. I know my way around a computer, tool box, breaker box, welder, engine bay, KitchenAid Stand-Mixer(name drop!), just about anything really. And if not, I'll roll up my sleeves, dive in head first and learn as I go. Can't wait to share this can-do attitude with our kids. My daughters will be more capable than the most men as will my sons.
I prefer watching sports live than on tv. My friends and I will usually catch a Mavs game here and there. If nothing else I usually make the Ranger's opening day game but didn't this year. Haven't been to a Stars or Cowboy's game in a minute but like watching them just as much.
All in all I suppose you can name it and I probably like doing it or am at least willing to give it a shot...oddly enough this applies to my nsfw side too haha. If you're into it, then behind closed doors you may be asked to wear a collar and lead around on a leash, get called a good girl, and pat on the head while it rests in my lap and I stroke your hair. Good girls receive rewards, naughty girls receive punishments...which depending on how naughty you are you may consider it a reward anyway🤣 I'd consider myself a Soft Dom more so than a regular dom. For those not familiar with the difference, Soft Doms practice a more gentle or nurturing form of dominance. Unlike a traditional dom, who may focus on strict control, power dynamics, or more intense forms of play, a soft dom emphasizes care, affection, and emotional connection. They prioritize the well-being, emotional support, and comfort of their submissive partner, while still maintaining the dominant role in the relationship. We can discuss this and more in further detail offline if we make it that far.
You: Of course I hope the above resonates with you and that we share similar interests, ideals, and values. While similar interests are nice and make for easy foundation building, dichotomies can be nice too so don't be shy if you're not into everything I'm into; let's embrace our differences and learn/grow from them! My ideal SO is someone who is intelligent, funny, active, patient, loyal, kind, compassionate, open-minded, resilient yet submissive, and overall amazing with a bit of a naughty streak, who while she is my SO, realizes (and appreciates) that she's also my property, my trophy.
You'll be a loving, doting wife who wears an apron in the kitchen (at times with nothing underneath...there's some of that naughty streak) and a smile on her face. Your job is keep the house clean, myself and the kids fed, and your husband's needs taken care of. As I said before, I'll keep a roof over our head, food on the table, and make sure you're never left feeling unseen, underappreciated, or unloved. You're my second half, someone I can lean on and be vulnerable with. Someone whose shoulder I can cry on and whose tender, loving voice, can lift my spirit from the very depths of hell itself. If you'd like, you can leave all the decision making to me but I would like to see that intelligence of yours shine while we nerd out on whatever random thing either of us have just learned. I love having deep discussions that last late into the night as we talk and laugh away, losing track of the world around us. Our children will be raised in a household filled with love and laughter. I go to church every Sunday and expect you and our kids to do so as well. You're close to your family, and mine, and we'll visit both, showing off our happy little family in the process. We'll be the couple everyone else wishes they were and probably be the cause of an argument or two along the way🤣🤫
I prefer young and petite. There's just something about it that naturally invokes the protector in me, i.e. Telling the world this is mine and you'd do well to remember that. I want you to disappear into my arms as we lay back and watch a meteor shower while seeing who spots the most. Let me shield you from all that you may fear. If I'm being honest I have a soft spot for cheerleaders thanks to many of them being in gymnastics with me. Now you don't have to be/have been a cheerleader by any means so please don't be discouraged if otherwise.
Hmm...I suppose that's a decent summary of myself and my likes. Of course there's more to me than the above but that should hopefully help give you an idea of who I am and what I like. Hope to hear from you! Not sure where to start? Did anything in particular from above pique your interest? Or let's talk about your favorite tv show, animated movie, the last concert you went to, or the last time you went to the fair. The Texas State Fair just began here in Dallas so I'm looking forward to grabbing a Fletcher's corn dog, who wants to go with me?!
