I am so pleased to have discovered this subreddit in a very long about way.

This is my first post so I will lay everything out on the dinning room table and let you make your own decision on if you want to chat with me or not.

MY Thoughts I have had thoughts about the whole traditional relationship and how wonderful it can be if it really works. Having lived life mostly being single. I have developed a lot of tools to live a life that does not require a person but where I want a person. A person that will be traditionally involved in a romantic way in the relationship but with a modern twist and element. I adore having my independence and would not want to place a lot upon the partner to do for me, unless she wants to but there would be lots that she would not need to do for me. That would include not needing to do my laundry or cleaning the house or cooking but if these things are duties you want to do you are very welcome to do them. I would really like to keep some independence which could mean that I do some of the duties myself and for myself.
I am very interested in a relationship that has traditional values and gender roles but would really like them to have some flexibility to be more suited to the modern world we live in. Where I can also help the partner out when she needs some assistance and help and that not all the issues are on her to resolve.
