I have a mobile wifi modem at home and its really slowww like no more than 5mpbs espicially at night it drops down to 1mbps or lower and often just disconnects.
I have troubleshooted some of the possible factors: - The modem is right under the tv and very close but even when the tv is off nothing changes. - The modem is always plugged in the charger and it gets very hot so I unplugged it for one hour but it's still slow and hot tho I might try that again. - The biggest sign I noticed is when I went outside with the modem and was just normally checking the speed and surprisingly the speed shot up to 15-20 and even more!!
What could be the cause of this ? I also live on 9th floor so could this be a factor too ?
Thatโs a problem with your mobile plan/carrier not TPLink.

You ever used a cellphone before? If the cell is inside you get lower slower speeds than outside... same thing.
