Air channeling noise at speeds higher than 70kmph
Post Body

Hello everyone

So I got windshield replaced on my HybridMax Platinum (Canada). Got a crack due to a stone hitting my windshield while driving on the highway.

Yesterday I took my GH on a drive and drove at good speed. I noticed that after hitting 70kmph, I could hear wind noise inside the cabin. It sounds like the wind passing over the car is getting obstructed or some form of channeling. I don’t remember hearing this earlier. But, I haven’t been driving on highways since i got the crack. The car is just one month old so there is not much highway history as well.

Could other owners confirm if they also hear this noise at high speed? Its not a cabin boom. The sound is from outside the vehicle and of the air passing over.

Would appreciate any feedback and observation.

Thanks

Update: There was an issue with the installation. The air channels on either side of the windshield were not properly fixed and that caused the noise. Now it’s fixed and wind noise is super low rather back to its original state. Thanks for the suggestions.
