So I bought an Avalon as my first car, when I was 16 it’s an 07 and when I bought it, it had 201,000 miles on it, and as time progressed it’s just gotten worse with its age, and it has 276,000 miles on it, I can’t get it to unlock right, the door won’t recognize the key, so the alarm blares, it started doing that at about 250,000 miles, I walked out one morning and the fob wouldn’t work so I used the door and it just does it every time now, I’ve had power steering issues, ball joints (wear and tear) the interior is degrading, the dealership I bought it from slapped a cheap paint job on it so now the hood barely has paint, it has issues with random misfires the go away once you start driving, half of the jbl synthesis surround sound doesn’t work, the Bluetooth just says please wait when you try to pair a phone, it’s an ugly car but it gets me from a to b (most of the time) it doesn’t have heat either so I’m freezing right now since it’s winter, I’m just looking for advice, should I scrap it, or try to fix the issues that are piling up, because the motor and transmission seem fine it’s mostly just the parts that work with it (will post pics of it tomorrow)
