2014 Toyota Corolla S

I was looking into replacing the steel rims that came with my corolla for the 17" rims that came on the 2016 Special edition but when i go to Toyotas website to purchase them it tells me that they don't fit. Does anyone know if there something different between the 2014 and 2016 as far as what wheels fit because I thought the cars were the same.
