Huge customer service issue - 2019 new car in service 10 times since September
Post Body

Hey everyone. I've brought this up in a previous post, but it didn't get a lot of traction, and I'm really getting desperate for help.

I bought a factory new 2019 Hilux in September. Since then, I've had to get it serviced for multiple electric issues TEN times. First it was parking sensors, then something smelled like burnt plastic inside the cabin, then the battery started draining overnight (turns out something was taking 20x the amount of power it should be taking when the vehicle was off), and finally, the 4L 4WD mode has been switching off, even though I've turned it on and along with that I get a notification to immediately contact my dealer.

Well, I have. Actually, 2 dealers and authorized service points, as well as Toyota Europe (I'm in Europe) and my country's Toyota HQ. No one has done a thing so far but keep servicing this obviously faulty vehicle. For compensation, they offered me my next service free. And here I am thinking, is this like a supermarket promotion, service 10 times, the 11th is free?? I'm just so frustrated because I bought a new vehicle, a TOYOTA, to not have to keep fixing things, and I've just spent a whole lot of time and money driving it back and forth to service points, only to have new issues brought up.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to make Toyota treat me like a person with a serious issue instead of a nuisance?
