Hello! I'm hoping for some help and guidance in what to do next with my brand new (well, it's 5 months old) Hilux. I brought it brand new from a dealer, and since then I've had to bring it in for ongoing electrical issues 9 times. The last time was last week, and they are still working on fixing it - something to do with unaccountably large power usage while the car is off, which results in the battery losing charge overnight. They won't tell me what's going on. I've tried contacting Toyota HQ for my country but they have not been too helpful - they just said that the car is fine but they'll fix it. I don't think it's normal for a new car to be serviced so many times and I'm sick of it. I don't have a loaner vehicle or an extra car that would do the same job that I need the Hilux for and it's just been really frustrating. Does anyone have an idea about how to proceed with Toyota? I'm in Europe, if it matters.
