Newbie Needs Advice On SUV

I would like to find a used suv but am not sure what kind of toyota to get. I had a camry for years and that thing never let me down. I'm wanting this as I like camping the backroads, fsr's and want to be able to get into sites that require 4WD/4X4.
Hoping to get something under $25000 if that is laughable, please dont laugh, educate me!
