I think I found the issue with the bathroom.
Originally, I posted about the toilet overflowing and messing up the wall behind the toilet. Many claimed that was too much damage for just one overflow. So because I didnโt want to get blamed for it, I removed the base trim, cleaned, dryed and painted over. Then I ran tape over the trim to contain the mycotoxins the best I could.
Fast forward a couple months. I noticed the tape on the floor was getting wet and molding ๐. I also noticed the floor was starting to lift up. I kneeled down today and saw that it was slightly wet around the toilet base caulking. So now Iโm sure the toilet seal has been leaking for years.
Iโm going to forward this the rental management company. I believe beneath the floor is caked in mold and piss. Luckily itโs concrete underneath.
My fear is when they โfixโ this, they will spread mycotoxins all over the house. I need advice from you guys because honestly Iโm scared because Iโm finally starting to feel normal again after almost two years.
Thanks ๐.
