Found the issue in the new house. Need advice!
Post Body

I think I found the issue with the bathroom.

Originally, I posted about the toilet overflowing and messing up the wall behind the toilet. Many claimed that was too much damage for just one overflow. So because I didnโ€™t want to get blamed for it, I removed the base trim, cleaned, dryed and painted over. Then I ran tape over the trim to contain the mycotoxins the best I could.

Fast forward a couple months. I noticed the tape on the floor was getting wet and molding ๐Ÿ™„. I also noticed the floor was starting to lift up. I kneeled down today and saw that it was slightly wet around the toilet base caulking. So now Iโ€™m sure the toilet seal has been leaking for years.

Iโ€™m going to forward this the rental management company. I believe beneath the floor is caked in mold and piss. Luckily itโ€™s concrete underneath.

My fear is when they โ€œfixโ€ this, they will spread mycotoxins all over the house. I need advice from you guys because honestly Iโ€™m scared because Iโ€™m finally starting to feel normal again after almost two years.

Thanks ๐Ÿ™.
