Post Body

I've had ticks since I was about five or six, not that I knew what they were. I just sort of dealt with them and never mentioned them and figured it was normal. I've had mostly muscular tics and some that resembled compulsions. I recently got diagnosed by my pediatrician (I'm a teenager) with my mother present. At that time, for a few months, my tics got drastically worse but receded quickly to my normal. I think my mother thinks I was faking it because she refuses to acknowledge the diagnosis (she's a very kind person I'm perfectly safe) and it is a little frustrating.
