Is it common to not tic all the time?
Post Body

Hi there! I started developing tics last year in July as an adult and they haven’t really gone away.

Although I get tics almost every day, I don’t get them for a whole day. They’re enough to make life difficult for me. I also feel like when I am in public I do control them a lot, but it means when I am home I struggle to control them.

Is this common? From what I’ve seen from people with a diagnosis so far, they seem to have them all the time. I’m still waiting for neurology and I’m scared they won’t take me seriously because I don’t get them 24/7
