I've picked up video game lingo as tics :L

Post Body

So, I play a lot of video games in my free time. My recent obsessions are Fallout 4 and Team Fortress 2, and although I haven't picked up any tics from Fallout 4 (yet, we'll see lmao) I've picked up a couple tics from TF2. The first one was me shouting "trickstab!" (accompanied by bringing the heel of my palm just inches away from my chin, but that is besides the point) which, if any of you are into TF2 and watch YouTuber stabbystabby's videos, you'll recognize immediately. And although that tic gets a lot of laughs out of my friends and even family, it's not harmful in any way if I tic it while in game.

Most recently however, I've developed "med down!" as a tic. Which, for those of you who may not know, is a callout said in-game whenever the opposing team's Medic (one of the playable classes in the game) is killed. This is very frustrating because I'll tic it while in-game, and it confuses the hell outta people. Although luckily most of my verbal tics I have to say in rapid succession, so I'm able to tell people "yeah if I say 'med down' multiple times in a row and/or while also performing my other tics, it's a tic, please ignore it" and that works out okay most times. If I tic it only once I just have to say it was a tic and it's no problem.

Anyway, wall of text over... anybody experience anything similar, either now or in the past? Just curiosity getting to me lol.
