Hey y'all!
I've got motor tics that have been progressively getting worse. My worst one now is me punching my left forearm very hard, which has caused me to stop wearing rings :( I'm concerned that if things continue to progress the way they are, I may develop consistent vocal tics. I've already started sniffing in conjunction to my motor tics sometimes. I'm on the wait list to see a neurologist to get some form of diagnosis or insight as to what's happening and what's causing my tics, though it is confirmed that I do have motor tics at least.
I was just wondering if anybody could share their stories on how they developed vocal tics, especially if you're like me and only started developing tics in your teens (first motor tic occurred when I was 15, I'm 17 currently). They may help me in figuring out what's going on, and with catching the beginnings of consistent vocal tics.
Tysm!!
