What's the weirdest trigger you have for your tics?
Post Body

Hey y'all!

I've gone to my doctor about my tics, and he has decided to conduct an MRI because of my family's history of MS. But, he has agreed that I have tics! So it's official!

Update aside, I've started watching Star Trek: The Original Series yesterday, and through this I have discovered that the old outdated sound effects are, oddly, a trigger for me. Mainly the beam sound effects of the people teleporting in and out of the ship, but even things like the phone call beeping and minor things like the sliding door noises can trigger my upper body spasm tic and my bashing-my-head-with-my-shoulder tic. I'm still able to watch the show and go unscathed, but it is a little bit annoying bashing my headphones off my head everytime somebody teleports or enters a room lol.

This just simply got me thinking: what's the weirdest trigger you have for your tics? Please discuss! This is all really interesting to me, and this subreddit is helping me learn more about my tics :)

Thank you!
