Tics that last a day?

Post Body

So, I don't have tourettes, but one of my best friends does and I'm making this post for her since she isn't really on reddit, but she was curious. Does anybody else experience tics that start and only last a day or two? From time to time my friend will get a new tic, whether it's a sound or a phrase, and will last a day or two before fading out and she goes back to her most common tics. She wasn't sure if anyone else experiences that, and some online searching hasn't turned up much info about it. If anyone knows, or has personal experiences with this, I know she'd appreciate hearing!
