I think I accidentally gave my cat one of my tics.

Post Body

I have a cat who I've had for a few years and at some point long ago when he was still a kitten he started doing these cute little huffs where he just pushes air out of his nose really quickly for a moment. He doesn't do it often, but enough. He'll usually do it at least a few times a day and that's just when I'm around so he could be doing it more often. I always thought it was cute and like a cute little impatient kind of sound or quirk of his although there doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason for when or why he does it and it hit me one day.

He's imitating me!

My vocal tic is breathing out quickly and forcefully through my nose, almost like I'm making a huffing sound through my nose, and I do it many, many, many times a day without realizing. The precious boy has been trying to mimic me all these years without me realizing.

Just thought it was a funny cute thing to share with everyone and it also just made me think of the meme of God creating humans and an angel is like "You fucked up a perfectly good monkey is what you did! Look! It's got anxiety!"
