My kid (19) has verbal and motor ticks. They get triggered and then repeat a phrase or word over and over. Standard stuff I think.

They also have times where it's like another personality has taken over for a split second (or 30), and they interact with us in ways that don't sound like tourettes to me. There are times where they will take glasses off my face and put them on or run away, or they try and hit my husband in the crotch, or they will react to someone dropping things with a 'ha ha loser' in the tourettes voice.

Does this sound like Tourettes to you, or do you think there is something else going on here...?

We will be making a doctors appointment as well, but wanted to see if anyone else seems to manifest their ticks this way... Thx.
