He's the villain. He's the hero. He's the lover boy. He's the fuckboy. He's the annoying younger sibling. He's the big bro. He's blunt. He's scheming. Only consistent thing in that man is how pretty his eyes are (no homo). Nah it’s the best character in Total Drama Island and Action, our residential bad boy.

(He was good in WT and we don’t talk about AS)

Truly one of the best winners in Total Drama history and him winning Action is better than him winning Island as Owen is the better choice as a finalist. He to me is the canon winner and the better winner over Beth (not dissing her).

Duncan is excellent both gameplay wise (even without the invincibility) and narratively. u/themeepdragon brings up an excellent point: “Duncan was consistently one of the characters that had a role to play in nearly every major plot in this season:

1. Gwent - Was one of the main reasons Trent was going off the deep end, and was not only the one who offered up Gwen an explanation but also formed a connection with her and took up for her multiple times. This outright helps lead into the love triangle, good or bad.

2. We don't even need to mention Harold. His arc was one of the biggest in this season and Duncan was a major part of it because of who they represent.

3. Leshawna's second arc of allying herself with Duncan and Harold is getting backlash in serious because of the two disliking each other. Leading to Leshawna trying to get rid of Duncan and getting herself kicked off.

4. Courtney speaks for herself.

5. Lindsay was working against Courtney and made a play involving Duncan, and it’s all because of her plot to get him out that she lost.

6. Was instrumental in Justin's ending next to Courtney.”

To add on, Duncan was brought up numerous times in the aftermath and he’s not even there!!

His plot armor in Action is very overblown. The guy was the best premerge players and one of the better players during merge (got second in EVERY challenge, and if not second then third, but gets screwed over in the end). The lindsay elimination was just awful writing with the way they came up with and was the only contrived one although sadly in character (Duncan also should’ve won rock and rule), while leshawna and justin’s were completely fair. Courtney using her negotiating skills to get Harold to not trust leshawna and Harold definitely voting justin for betraying him. Had Dj voted for Duncan, who brought back bunny and who dj also speaks very highly of in Playa de losers, instead of someone that he has never spoken to before the finale, then it would be tied 5-5 where we can have Bridgette and Geoff be the tiebreaker. That whole Owen fart situation isn’t a Duncan problem but a production issue as they didn’t think it through. (not slandering the writers)

To close this out, Duncan is a better winner than Beth (not dissing her, although my ideal finale is Duncan vs Lindsay) and is one of the best characters in the entire franchise as a whole and one of the best winners to top it off.
