Now i love Aleheather this season and they were really a highlight. their interactions and the way they played and developed was very fun to watch. But everyone else was either excellent (Tyler), arcs were forgotten (Leshawna), or got out way too soon (Noah). The merge kinda sucks as well.

I’m gonna start off with Cody, as while i don’t dislike him this season, his arc from Island was forgotten and he has no changing storyline until the final four with Sierra. Cody and Heathers interactions are a highlight but i feel like either Cody or Sierra could’ve gotten out earlier.

Now the love triangle is what i call a bad idea that was executed in the worst way possible. Because while it boosted heather and alejandro to reach the epic finale we got, it stepped over a massive amount of characters and development to reach it

This ruins the LT characters just to have the aleheather go far, (them going far is great but i don’t like the fact other people got stepped on). Duncan, now i love him but he definitely should’ve done in the ex flies this episode instead of Tyler, as there was no need for him to make merge again. Have him team up with Heather and for them both to attempt to take down Alejandro but Duncan gets ousted premerge. I really disliked how out of character they made him act this season where he was maliciously going at Courtney. While he is an *ss, he was never malicious especially to Courtney as Island and Action Duncan would never do that. Overall it sucks as this is something that the writers never wanted to do. (u/replaymenace) I did love the rivalry between him and alejandro as their bromigos relationship was fun to watch. Courtney was solid up until that point and once Gwen got out it was basically TDA Duncney again.

It’s really what happens when the higher ups meddle into gwent and duncney and this is the result we get, as look at trent with the number nine stuff and then he’s completely normal after they break up. Just something the writers never wanted to do.

Blainley is cool but they wasted the returnee on the fact that it could’ve been Noah.

Owen was very solid this season and did deserve merge, and imo Sweden Sour was him at his best.

Tyler and Noah were done way too soon. It makes no sense for Alejandro to vote off his only loyal ally and sucks that the only person that wasn’t praising duncan gets the boot early. Noah getting out after winning the challenge was one of the worst eliminations in the entire series. The guy does what he’s supposed to do and wins the challenge and gets out? Nah

Djs plot was really hard to watch this season and it especially sucked to see it wipe out his entire team. The resolution sucked as well. Animal curse just was very pitiful and it sucks that they made him a mommas boy without how he was in Island. What the hell happened to the Dj from TDI and even TdA

Bridgette is a character that had a chance to shine without Geoff and can show more and prove herself. But no, she gets wasted as an Alejandro boot. She deserved her own arc this season. Lindsay was the only character that did good as she did the most with a small hand and was excellent to watch.

Leshawna had all of her development undone and was pretty atrocious this season. Violently attacking Heather for no reason was very uncalled for and breaking her teeth… holy hell.

Ezekiel… the man that can speak 8 languages, was booted for a joke. Feral Zeke is self explanatory but Jesus Christ everything about that was awful.

Trent as a musician tragically missed out this season. It also would’ve been cool to see Justin, Eva, and Sadie this season as they can either be early boots or create some interesting dynamics.

This season just had so many characters wasted and an awful plot that stepped over many characters and development. Action is a much better season to add on. It also wasn’t just the Lt trio that got stepped over. It was also Cody for example whose development got reversed, Tyler got eliminated because of it. The finale was the best in the series but so much things happened that makes it very hard for me to look over. On the bright side, at least Geoff was amazing and a bright light.
