Child of the 80’s so I (sort of) remember all the moves from back then. The organ intro gives me goosebumps up there with the theme songs to todays special and fraggle rock.
I love we have our own song. It’s fun.
Take me out to the ballgame is then my favourite part of the game and one of the most charming things about baseball.
We all get up and sing the “we love baseball” song. We love it. We get snacks, it’s ok if we lose. What expectation management.
Singing it along with my kids is extra special.
Baseball is a great sport, and the Blue Jays are a touchstone that’s always been special in my life since I was a little kid.
The seventh inning stretch always reminds me of that. And In my seat down the third baseline it’s the closest I get to the “people will come, Ray” speech.
