I’m all in on the pitch clock. I love the benefits of it. But I actually sat down to WATCH the game with full focus last night (not just having it on or streaming from the jobsite) and I find the continued counting down every pitch distracting and annoying.
There’s so few violations (1 per game) that I’m really fine if they just tell me when it happens. It’s just not needed for every pitch especially if a guy is just working quickly.
I don’t need this anymore than I need to see the countdown in previous years.
Rich Eisen had a video yesteday saying he loved the pitch clock because he didn’t feel he was seeing it. I felt like I saw it constantly.
