Since I'm already on the apps I thought that maybe I should give this sub a try.
I am looking to connect with other singles that will hopefully lead to a long term, monogamous relationship and life partner. I have been legally separated for over 3 years now. I'm not in a rush or anything so definitely no pressure, just seeing the vibes and go from there.

Me:
I am a 34 yr old in the arts and education field living a bit outside of the city. I am definitely passionate about what I do. I love to laugh and the people in my life would say I have a dry sense of humor. In my spare time, I do indulge in gaming and consider that my biggest hobby right now. I do enjoy the whole Comicon culture (i dont cosplay but huge respect to those who do), watching streamers, and all that. I'm hoping to get back into going to the gym on a regular basis as I havent been since pre-covid. I love other typical things like movies, shows, the whole YouTube binge. I'm big into sports as I enjoy the NFL throughout the season as well as the NBA. I'm cool with hockey too! I do consider myself to be more of an indoors person but open to trying new things and down for camping and being off the grid once in awhile. I do like to go out to see events in the city, live music, theatre & comedy, going out to restaurants. I love food and trying out as many of the best restaurants this city has to offer. I've done my fair share of traveling. I'm pretty close with my family and have groups of friends that are very important to me.

You:

I am looking for someone that is a good communicator, someone that is open-minded, understanding, compassionate, and empathetic, Someone who also shares similar values. Definitely someone with a sense of humor as similar to mine (dark humor is welcome). I do hope we are able to bond over some of the things I've mentioned. At the very least just as much as a food lover as I am. I'm not particular about age as long as the vibes are good. I don't really mind what your profession is as long as you have a sense of pride in what you do. Overall, someone I am excited to be with.

Deal breakers:

I am a smoker but I don't see myself doing it for the rest of my life. I do drink alcohol but on occasion. I don't mind if you 420, I just do that very rarely. I do lean politically left but I don't enjoy discussing politics. I am very 50/50 on having children but I'm okay if you have them. I am not a fan of tardiness lol.
