Hello Reddit,

After enjoying some me time travelling (Anfield for Klopp's last LFC game, STRAAT Amsterdam were the highlights) and reinforcing my self investment (joining the local Y) it feels like a great time to put myself out there to find someone to enjoy the sunshine with.

It's almost summer and there are a ton of fun events coming up, so why not use the opportunity to have a fun date or three?

A bit about myself

I am 38, caucasian/white, blue-green eyes, short brown hair that is currently dyed a red/purple, 6'0" with a dad bod (XL clothing) and a great smile. I am happy to share a photo.

Before shredding my ACL a few years back I was a proud member of the Goalkeeper Union so come with strong hands and a soft touch. Based in the East End.

Like everyone I enjoy the normal stuff - reading, music, live entertainment, food, etc. My tastes however trend towards nu-metal/metalcore/rock/metal, fantasy/action/sci-fi/comedy, soccer/hockey, omnivore but always down for a nice steak.

If you enjoy dark humour and the occasional innuendo then we'll get on swimmingly.

Full disclosure: I am separated with children and have no plans for any more.

About you

I enjoy someone with a sense of humour, natural curiousity, the ability to be intentionally positive and, perhaps most importantly, someone who is able to communicate their wants, needs, and boundaries.

Must be animal friendly as I do have an XL doggo and a senior orange cat.

My "type"

I am drawn to a genuine smile and a twinkle of mischief in the eye. Everything else is just a bonus. I have found that I am slightly more drawn to interracial dating but that is by no means a deal breaker as personality is most important.

I do prefer that you be in the 27 - 43 age range as the hope is that it becomes something ongoing.
