A lot of the real estate inventory is due to home owners selling to move out of Canada. Stop blaming it all on the mortgage renewals and poor realtors. Anyone with $150k in income is paying 60% in taxes in Ontario when you add income tax, property tax, HST. Government has created budgets that require constant tax hikes in favor of importing immigrants. People paying takes are leaving in exchange for people consuming taxes. Extrapolate this out a few years and you can clearly see GTA becoming a third world country soon. Liberals will start buying real estate to house immigrants. They’ll force boomers to pay additional home equity tax or be forced to sell their bungalows to Freeland and he put in assisted living jails. I can’t believe more people aren’t hearing warning bells go off.
