Is taking a 6th year pathetic?

I had pretty bad depression my first two years which has f'ed up my gpa. I'm doing a 5th year now in biology. I really don't want to do a 6th year but I'm wondering if it would be worth it to apply for programs with high requirements? I just feel really pathetic being here for 6 years...
