How to bottom more frequently?

Right now, whether it’s with a top or my toy, my ass can really only handle bottoming once a week. It’s either my hole is too sore or my digestive system is a little too active to do more.
I’d like to get to every other day, but I’m not sure how. Is it just a matter of practice makes perfect? Or can some guys just not go that often?
