Question for guys who like longer dicks

Back story is I have only been with one guy that had an above average dick. He said it was 8 inches long. He wasn't nice with it and I was sore for a couple weeks afterwards. I stayed away from long ones since.
My question is if your accustomed to long ones do you get to the point that a 6.5 will slip all the way in, in a just one stroke for the initial penetration.
