I have pretty severe vestibular migraines. I have been on Amitriptyline, but I started to have issues with my heart (tachycardia) because of it, so I am being weaned off of it despite amazing results. My neuro has suggested that I try Topamax.

After a solid 5 minutes of reading through people's stories, I am curious about other people's side effects for Topamax specifically for migraines. I am going to college (super far away) in less than a month, and I am wary about trying a new medicine right before going away.

I will obviously consult with my neuro about this, but I am also interested in hearing others' stories, opinions, advice, etc.
