I’m 20, 205lbs 5’2”, and I got diagnosed with binge eating disorder when I was 18 although I struggled way before that, my psychiatrist at the time suggested I take wellbutrin and naltrexone together to help stabilize my mood and help me lose weight. While my mood got better (and the environment I was living in wasnt so shitty anymore) I found the naltrexone didn’t help me stop bingeing. It did make me lose appetite but I still got that intrusive urge to just eat all I can at 12am. I saw a new psychiatrist today and he prescribed me topiramate and wants me to stop the naltrexone and I’m scared the come down from naltrexone is going to make me physically ill. And mixing a new drug ontop o that will make it worse. Anyone who has taken topiramate does it make you super drowsy? Does it make you feel sick? I’m wondering if I should take it in the morning or night. Also anybody taking naltrexone (50mg) have stopped taking it and had any bad side effects? I’m starting this new switch up on Thursday (it’s currently Wednesday) and while I read as much as possible on the internet I’d like personal POV‘s of people who’ve experienced first hand.
