so i was scheduled to get top surgery on dec 27th after waiting for over a year to get it done, and I was told to go to a cardiologist to get my heart looked at because of previous issues I’ve had before. everything looked fine in my results except for my iron levels which were extremely low, which has ultimately resulted in me not being able to get the surgery. i am able to get an iron transfusion done through an IV but it will push my surgery date back to almost a month and I’m very down about this, I guess I’m just needing a little uplifting from the people that understand me :) my mom is sweet but hasn’t been the best at supporting me in this journey as she believes I don’t need to have a surgery to find true joy, but she just doesn’t understand.
