I am nearing 2 weeks post-DI with no nipple grafts. I’m looking for some perspective on this because these feelings are totally new to me and may just be a fluke considering I’m not very far along in the healing process.

Has anyone had completely new erogenous sensation on their chest post top surgery? When I had breasts I never had any erogenous sensation on my chest, ever. The only thing I ever felt when other people touched my chest was disgust, when I touched my chest I felt nothing at all.

Today I took a shower (facing away so the water doesn’t hit my chest of course) and when the water went down my chest especially near my incisions it felt really sexy. Not like touching my genitals but more like touching my thighs or butt. It was a totally weird, new sensation especially because I have nearly no sensation on my chest otherwise and I opted for no nipple grafts too.

So I’m wondering if this is just a nerve misfire, me psyching myself into it because frankly I think my chest is sexy to just look at, or if I’m genuinely feeling erogenous sensation on my new chest? I am also wondering if anyone else gained new erogenous sensation after top surgery, I would especially like to hear from folks who had no nipple grafts like me.
