Post Body

I Had double incision (no drains) top surgery 16 days ago. I know super early. But I’m curious as to when you didn’t feel super tight and like you were gonna break open at any moment.

I have no pain or discomfort moving my arms in any direction. I’m cleared to move them in all directions even above my head, still no discomfort. The problem is when I stand up from either laying down or sitting down. I feel like it’s going to break open. (even though my doctor reassured me it won’t) I’m even back to sleeping on my side with the most wonderful comfort.

The only thing that’s gone wrong is me being allergic to the soap, glue, the ointment (bacitracin), tape, gauze, bandaging, and even the binder itself. So yesterday, she had me remove everything for good and I feel extremely fragile without the binder but I’m not even allowed to put it on over a shirt. I can live with that but I’m wondering how soon it’ll be back to “normal”
