How do I know if I have a seroma?

I’m 3 weeks post op but still terrified of getting one. I’m not in any pain, but my chest is still slightly puffy (not excessively I don’t think). I know it’s going to be slightly swollen for some time, but how do I distinguish this from seroma? Do they hurt? Is it one of those “you’ll know when you feel it” things?
