Post Body

I’m 2 weeks post op now. I posted on here previously asking when you guys started taking short walks after your surgery, as everywhere I’ve looked said that it’s good for healing and your lymphatic system.

I emailed my patient coordinator to check with her, and she told me to wait until my post op appointment 4 weeks post op to ask my surgeon. I’m worried this is bad advice. I don’t want to overdo it or hurt myself, but I also don’t want to delay or harm my healing by not getting some light movement if I’m supposed to.

Did she give me bad advice? What should I do?
