Has anyone here ever been to a fish boil, or better yet prepared one? The whole throw a quart of kerosene on the fire, creating a massive fireball to âboil off the scumâ seems to be pointless to me. It all happens so fast, it doesnât appear to actually generate enough heat to cause the gallons of stock in the pot to boil over. It appears to be all for show, or at least that seemed to be the case here.
Yes, Iâve seen it in Fish Creek Wisconsin and never ate it. Itâs a tourist thing.
The water does however boil over instantly.
