I have been hoping to find a hygrometer that I can use inside of a food dehydrator which can reach temperatures of up to 90C or 194F. I have a nice analog oven thermometer which is great for verifying temperature but I would love some way to tell what the humidity is in there as I am using it to dry plastic filament.
I have found some that look like they are maybe good to survive in those temperatures but they say their temperature range is more 140F.
Now I dont really care whether or not it can measure temperature at temps above its range but if it could give at least a rough idea of whether its more 10% RH in there or 60% RH that would be useful so I can observe how the drying is going.
And even if it cant do that it would be nice if it were just ok to sit in there. Maybe not make any sort of good readings past its temperature range but like when the temperature goes back down still be somewhat accurate and not melted.
Or do they make high temperature hygrometers?
