My birthday is comming up and i want to treat myself to a nice piece of kit. A high quality version of a more basic tool. For example a Nepros ratchet. I work in construction, mostly carpentry, but i'm still exploring and i do some welding aswell.
I'd love the here about the tools that stand out to you guys and gals, the ones that are a pleasure to use every day or that you look forward to use.
I prefer european or japanese brands but i do like the american stuff with a bit of 'heritage' to it like an eastwing hammer for example.
I don't like gimmicks such as those digital tapemeasures you might see on insta.
Oh yeah, as for cordless tools i'm on team Makita
And budget wise i'd say max 500 euros/dollars, depending on what kind of tool it is.
Happy holidays and i wish you al a lot of tool related fun for the upcomming year.
